Therizon offers four different tests in the Inflammation and Stress category:
- Inflammation (hsCRP) Test
This test measures levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) to detect increases that are associated with acute inflammation (high elevations) or chronic inflammation (moderate elevations), in particular to detect the risk of cardiovascular disease. - Gout (Uric Acid) Test
This test measures uric acid levels primarily for the diagnosis and treatment of gout, but also to detect renal dysfunction and a variety of other disorders, including leukemia, psoriasis, atherosclerosis, diabetes, and hypothyroidism. - Stress (Cortisol) Test
This test measures cortisol levels, primarily to detect persistently elevated cortisol levels, which can increase the risk of various health complications, including anxiety, depression, digestive problems, weight gain, and insomnia. - Vitamin D and Inflammation Test
This test measures levels of 25(OH) vitamin D and C-reactive protein (CRP). Low vitamin D is linked to an increased risk of inflammation.
